Foxtail Millet (Kangni / Thinai)

Foxtail millet, known as Kangni or Thinai, is one of the oldest cultivated grains, prized for its light texture and nutritional richness. It is a rich source of protein, dietary fiber and antioxidants with low glycemic index, making it suitable for diabetic and gluten-free diets. Indian foxtail millet is favored for its clean processing, excellent grain size and long shelf life. Commonly exported to Europe, Japan and the Middle East, it’s used in breakfast cereals, baby foods and organic mixes.
