Pearl Millet (Bajra)
Pearl millet, or Bajra, is a powerhouse of nutrients and one of India’s most exported millets. Rich in iron, calcium and amino acids, it’s used in flour mixes, cereals and ready-to-cook health products. Its mild nutty flavour and natural gluten-free quality make it ideal for diabetic and weight-management diets. Indian pearl millet is widely demanded in Africa, the Middle East and Asia for its excellent grain size, low moisture and high shelf stability. Exported in both whole and flour forms, it’s a preferred grain for sustainable and organic food sectors.
